Polar Bear Experience!
Spend 1 night in Winnipeg and 3 nights at Churchill at the Lazy Bear Lodge. Two full days on the tundra in a buggy with maximum 20 people – everyone gets a window seat! Perfect for photographers or those keen on nature! Great accommodation and great bears!
A very special trip you won't want to miss.
Day 1: Arrive in Winnipeg, overnight at the Airport Radisson Hotel. We will have a Polar Bear Safari briefing and then it is off to bed to rest !
Day 2: An early flight from Winnipeg, arriving Churchill, Manitoba at 10:00am. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying a tour of the town with a local guide giving insight into the natural history of the area. We stop at the world famous Eskimo Museum, the Polar Bear “Jail” and the research centre for an introduction to the bears. Overnight at the Lazy Bear Lodge.
Day 3: After breakfast, enjoy a full day viewing Polar Bears from a specialized buggy. The buggies are heated and have washroom facilities for your comfort. Viewing can be from the windows that open or off the back platform. Although the buggies are equipped for 40 passengers, we will only take 20 to ensure the best viewing and lots of space. Return to the Lazy Bear Lodge for the overnight. Dinner will be at one of the local restaurants of your choice.
Day 4: After breakfast, another full day of Polar Bear viewing returning to the Lazy Bear Lodge for overnight.
Day 5: We depart Churchill this morning by air, arriving in Winnipeg at 1:45pm in time to connect to your flight home, taking with you Arctic memories of the great white bears!
