The gorgeous sand beaches of the Caribbean coast, lively markets, indigenous cultures and amazing ruins including Chichen Itza, Palenque and Tulum, are only a few of the many experiences you will have on the Yucatán Panorama.
ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Arrive in Cancun at any time. There are no planned activities so check into our hotel and enjoy the city or go for a swim in the crystal clear Caribbean waters.
Day 2,3 Chichén Itzá / Mérida - The tour begins with an exploration of the ruins of Chichén Itzá, which are characterized by huge stepped pyramids. Discover for yourself how these ancient people flourished in Mexico and Central America. In the early evening we arrive at the colonial city of Mérida, capital of Yucatán State, where we spend the next two nights. Explore this great colonial city's open markets and outdoor cafés and discover for yourself why these ancient people flourished in Mexico and Central America.
Day 4-6 Palenque - Today we travel through the emerald-green jungle into the heart of the Yucatán to the outskirts of Palenque-one of Mexico's most beautiful Mayan sites. You will be equally impressed with the abundance of exotic wildlife and bounteous flora as you will be with the ancient ruins in the lush Chiapas jungle surrounding Palenque.
Day 7 Tulúm - The picturesque seaside ruins of Tulúm await us after our night bus journey across the Yucatán. Relax and enjoy a locally prepared meal of fresh seafood in a seaside café surrounded by swaying palm trees, white sandy beaches and the sparkling blue Caribbean Sea.
Day 8,9 Isla Mujeres - Today we travel by bus and boat, across to Isla Mujeres. Swimming, snorkeling, diving and just soaking up the sun are all island favorites-not to mention a great way to enjoy the final days of your 10 day adventure. On one of our last evenings together we will board a sailboat for a farewell, sunset cruise in the Caribbean. Return to Cancun for the night of day 9.
Day 10 Depart Cancun.
