TRAVELBOECKER takes pride in planning journeys that take you on voyages of discovery, adventure, culture and pleasure. With more than 30 years experience, our first hand travel knowledge and attention to detail combine to create travel experiences to be remembered.
Chris Boecker C.T.C. (Certified Travel Counselor) was born in South Africa, lived in Europe, has settled in Vancouver, B.C. and speaks English, German and Afrikaans. Chris has travelled extensively throughout Europe, explored much of the African Continent, journeyed through Asia and South America, discovered the hidden treasures of Mexico and North America and also travelled on a Russian Icebreaker through the Arctic Sea.
The name TRAVELBOECKER is a derived from the profession and last name of the owner. Sometimes it is spelled incorrectly as travelboeker.com. But whether it is written as Boeker or as Boecker with the 'c' - it is pronounced like travelbooker.com, which is effectively what we are and what we do best!
Chris Boecker enjoys getting involved in the community and is the director of marketing for German Kids Richmond, a language school dedicated to keeping the German language and culture alive in our children. Chris also sponsors community events, chaired the South African Business Network Group and was membership director for the German Canadian Business Association.
TRAVELBOECKER is operated by Personal Travel Management Ltd. PTM is a B.C. registered, licensed & bonded Travel Agency belonging to several industry associations, such as ACTA - the Association of Canadian Travel Agents and the Ensemble Group (a network of 2000 independent travel agencies), which gives us the buying power, networking ability and other advantages of the larger chains, while retaining the personal contact and hands-on approach.

TRAVELBOECKER asks for your name, e-mail address and phone number when you send a request for information. During subsequent correspondence, TRAVELBOECKER may ask for other personal data, such as interests (including favorite activity and destination), address and birth date. If you express interest in booking a trip by either calling us or by filling out a form on our site, we will ask when you plan to travel, where you want to travel, what you want to do while traveling, how many people you want to travel with, where your trip will originate, and whether you require air tickets. We will also ask for a daytime phone number in case you want to be called by our travel specialist.
TRAVELBOECKER uses this information to provide you with personalized travel services and to direct you to offers from us or selected partners that would appeal to you. If you purchase a product or service from TRAVELBOECKER, you will be asked to provide an address, phone number, and possibly a credit card number. TRAVELBOECKER collects this information only to complete the purchase transaction. This does not apply to purchases made on sites linked to TRAVELBOECKER.
