34 years ago Christine Boecker entered her uncle's Travel Agency as a
travel agent apprentice - not knowing Sydney, N.S. from Sydney N.S.W.
Ever since then Boecker has been driven to explore the wonderful world we live in,
from the dry and hot Kalahari Desert to the cold and windy Beechey Island in the Arctic,
where 4 members of the Franklin expedition perished 150 years ago --
and many memorable places in between!

Christine Boecker C.T.C. (Certified Travel Counselor) was born in South Africa, lived in Africa as well as Europe and settled in Vancouver, B.C. 17 years ago.
Experienced in all aspects of the travel agency, her first-hand travel knowledge
and attention to detail combined will create a trip you’ll talk about –
at home, at work and with your friends – for a very long time!
The name TRAVELBOECKER is a derived from the profession and last name of the owner. Sometimes it is spelled incorrectly as travelboeker.com. But whether it is written as Boeker or as Boecker with the 'c' - it is pronounced like "Travelbooker", which is effectively what we are and what we do best!
Christine Boecker enjoys getting involved in the community and is the director of marketing for German Kids Richmond, a language school dedicated to keeping the German language and culture alive in our children.
Boecker also sponsors
Richmond Ringette, SOS Children’s Village, Hoops for Hope and the Canadian Network for International Surgery, as well as community events such as the annual Steveston Salmon Festival. She volunteered on the organizing committee of the Steveston Farmers & Artisan Market, chaired the South African Business Network Group,
was membership director for the German Canadian Business Association and member of the Vancouver Borad of Trade.
Feeding her passion for children, Boecker is a qualified Parent Educator for the Neufeld Institute, offering parents a new, yet intuitive way to make sense of their children.
